Our Story - It's About Molly!
Molly was born in 2018 and was the sweetest, happiest baby.
She would light up the room with her smiles and cheerful disposition. In 2019 she was diagnosed with a rare chromosomal abnormality called Angelman syndrome. Common symptoms of Angelman syndrome involve significant developmental delays, seizures, sleep disturbances, and lack of speech. A prominent characteristic of people with Angelman syndrome is happiness and plenty of smiles.

Molly's family then worked with multiple agencies to get Molly all the support and services possible, over time Molly was making amazing progress when she unexpectedly passed away in her sleep in November of 2022.
Molly and her family were fortunate to be connected with George Mark Children House, a vital resource during Molly's life as well as providing support during Molly's family's bereavement.
Molly Smiles Foundation was formed to support other families to navigate caring for a special needs child.

2025 Molly Smiles Grant Cycle
Applications for this year's grant cycle must be submitted between February 1st, 2025, and March 31st, 2025.
The Molly Smiles Grant cycle is closed. MSF board members are in the process of reviewing applications. Grant recipients will be announced by April 30, 2025.

MSF is dedicated to supporting families of children with developmental, physical, and intellectual disabilities by providing financial assistance tailored to their unique needs. Learn more about the program.

On April 30th, 2024, Molly Smiles Foundation announced the recipients of the Molly Smiles Grants for the 2024 cycle—8 incredible children!
We were overwhelmed to receive over 30 applications during our inaugural grant cycle!
